Ziplines

Our wonderful hosts at The Secret Garden in Chaing Mai reserved all the adventures for us. We found things online before we left, but we opted to wait for booking until we arrived, and we are thankful we did.  We were steered in the direction of the less-crowded versions of the adventures we sought.
First, the zipline.  Because of Claire's age, we chose a zipline with only 28 platforms and 2 repels.  It turned out to be perfect, but we often chuckled at the methods.  I never felt un-safe.  But, when the kids would start zipping across, the guide would start pulling down and pushing up on the line to give a little extra "fun."  We eventually got used to it.

Note the green shower cap under the helmet.  I find this funny considering the sanitation for lunch after the zipline.  To be fair, the lunch was a sit-down, all-we-could-stuff pad thai, soup, rice, etc, etc.  We worked on our immune systems on this trip, but we didn't have to worry one lick about lice!

The video is of Claire. Note the line that keeps swaying from the hand of the trusty guide. I had to post it on youtube because I couldn't get the video to upload with the blogger site.
Two more videos
