no lawyers allowed

We read about the Tiger Kingdom once we got to Chiang Mai and Jeff decided there was no way we were leaving that country without petting tigers.  So, off we went to this place where you pay to go into the cages with any size tiger!  Truly.  I didn't notice anyone in the cages with the gigantic tigers, but it was an option on the price list.  Although, it cost less to go in with the larger tigers.
We opted for the 6 week old tigers and the 12 week old tigers.  The crazy thing is we paid a total of $100 USD for all six of us to be in the cage with these tigers (along with their handlers).  It was really amazing, and not frightening at all - of course, that could translate as stupidity, right?

Jeff is petting the 6 week old tiger, while someone from another group is with the older tigers on the other side of the gate.

Forrest, Taylor, Ellis  and Claire are with the 12 week old tigers here.

After the tiger petting, Ellis broke out in a rather nasty rash, but we were prepared with benadryl and a change of clothes.  While he let the benadryl kick in, Jeff, Forrest, and I paid about $2 and got a fish massage.  It feels crazy and I screamed a little at first, which was great for embarrassing the children, but I think the concept is sound, maybe.
