Summer (2016) East Coast

Off to the east coast (Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina)

Waiting for our airport pickup in Atlanta (Gran)

First stop: Chick-fil-A (with Tate Baker on the side)

Then, off to the mountains to make sure the house is still standing, and to see sweet friends from our days in Greensboro (the Reynolds).

Then, to Nana's so we can walk on grass (it's the little things).

Last summer, it was meeting Reece. This summer, we met Emmerson.

Marvin let the boys try his cool new hearing aids. I find it humorous that Ellis just lets Forrest do this. I can just hear Forrest now, "Ellis! Be still while I get this straight."

Downtown Franklin, TN

Back to Georgia for a little time with Gran.

Can't leave the state of Georgia without visiting The Varsity.

After only two weeks on the east coast, we left for HK, leaving Forrest to pursue a few adventures. In August, he completed an EMT-B intensive course in Indiana and became "lettered" (official letters behind his name). Then, he flew to California to visit the American Heart Association and to visit HKIS friends. And, in early September, he flew back to HK to officially begin his GAP year, starting in Laos.
