Divide and conquer - April 2015

Just before the kids were out for spring break, we decided to divide and conquer. I would take the girls to the US to visit a possible summer camp for Taylor, and to visit cousins and grandparents. Jeff, in turn, would take the boys to Kunming, the Stone Forest, and Tiger Leaping Gorge in China. We decided the trek in China would be a bit difficult for the girls at their ages, and three would be easier on that trek that six (the girls and I can go later).

But, before heading to the US (a mere hours before heading to the US), we made sure we found our way to a wonderfully fun wedding. This also happened to be the moment Forrest decided on his prom date (next post).

Then, we left Forrest with his friends at the wedding, went home, I grabbed the girls, and then we headed to the airport for the midnight flight to the US.

While we were fulfilling familial obligations, the other half were seeing the wonders of the world. Jeff and the boys in Kunming, the Stone Forest, and then Tiger Leaping Gorge, WITHOUT US!

These photos are in a terrible order, but, remember, I am trying to catch up from a year of potentially lost memories. Girls - USA, Boys - China.
