Please don't . . .

I think I could write a daily blog on the photo-worthy signs I see in Asia. But, sometimes it's not necessarily the wording, but the quantity of information.  But this is important when it comes to beaches and parks because you can do nothing in these areas. Truly, the beaches are known in Hong Kong for what you "cannot" do (at the beach closest to our house, the kids can't throw a ball). It's maddening.

Typical beach sign.

Typical park sign - walking quietly is the only thing left to do. Don't release fish, don't feed fish, don't paddle (the illustration doesn't quite match), no tree climbing, no rail climbing, no rock climbing, no running OR frolicking, no carving, no smoking, no littering, no flower picking, no grass walking, no tripods, no loud talking, no dogs, and no selling! Whew.

Again, a public park and hiking trail.

Please don't "steal the facilities" in the public toilet (but please wash your vegetables in the sink before selling them for lunch).

This one should probably be saved for the post on Tiger Leaping Gorge, but there are so many to share from that trip, these two won't be missed!

"Tiger leaping gorge hiking high way this into" - Priceless
